Fabulous dishes, remote location to Bay of Fundy. Close to a huge supermarket, the area's restaurants/shops and Machias. Spotless rooms with a coffeemaker and a writing desk, etc.
Beds were too soft.

The room was spacious and stocked with great hot water, we stayed in all day. The location was great for Machias, just next door to the area's restaurants/shops and local events, and historical fort. Furthermore, close to all amenities.
Nothing atall.

The Bluebird Motel is nestled right on Route 1! Plus, the outdoor picnic area is a good spot to enjoy local snacks and just chill.
The bathroom is tiny, and the room's location was a trek from the ice machine and office, making late-night snacks a bit of a jaunt.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic lighthouse tour aboard the sturdy Dorothy Helen, where we soaked in fine ocean views. Plus, the motel was super accommodating with our pets.
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom could have been bigger for easier family use. A bigger space would help families manage better, especially with multiple kids.
